Just saying Hi!

New owner here. Just saying hello!
Picked up a fully loaded '09 JCW Monday night (03.16.09) with 2 miles on the clock!!!

Traded in my 06 Mazda 3 2.3L HB (MZ3, not the Speed), sad to see her go. But that sadness disappeared kinda quick, when everything fell into place (reappeared again when signing the paper work, but then completely forgotten about when I was handed the keys!)

Breaking the new Mini in slooooooowly... and getting real antsy! That turbo wants to SING!

Questions from a new Mini owner:
1) Waving to other Mini drivers is MANDATORY, right?
2) It's now Bonnet and Boot?
3) Give her a name when she's ready?
4) Do I have to spell color with a "U"?
5) How does one get one of those sig picts of the "Cars" type Mini?

Any other key Mini information do I need to know?

I'm learning all her quirks, and so far so good! I've posted a few things already, turns out it's just "New Parent" syndrome.
"What was that noise?"
"Is this normal?"
etc
Very friendly and helpful people around here. Always a good thing!

Hello, welcome and congratulations! Very nice choice!

The only key MINI information I have is to try not and let her become a garage queen. She loves to go and run around, makes her happy.

I am guilty here and don't get out nearly enough.

Thanks for the replies everyone!
I was hoping for a British Racing Green with Black BONNET Stripes. She was too beautiful to walk away. (Plus if I had one built, I would have missed the deal on the financing... Plus I don't know if I would have made it the 6-8 weeks. The anticipation would have KILLED ME!!! ) I am very happy with my decision.

I solemnly swear to keep her happy by driving her a lot!!!

See you around the boards!
