Hi, my husband and I purchased a 2009 mini s in astro black and had it built and took delivery the end of October, 2008. He loves the car, EXCEPT he has had 3 instances of what we believe to be the cold start problem I read about on here. We are totally frustrated as the car is back in the shop and from what we understand there is no fix yet? How can Mini sell a car that has had a known problem for years and not have a fix. I was wondering if anyone has had their's successfully fixed? Thanks

 

Welcome from North Carolina. We took delivery of our Clubmans in Oct. & Nov. and have not had the cold start issue. Maybe it does not get cold enough here in NC.
