New to Mini but have owned a few 911's and a great BMW 325e...Bought a high milage 2004 MC with 174K on the clock...one owner, well cared for...blk, blk, sunroof, 5 speed...great shape, no damage, no add ons...owner commuted 1k a week..still solid and tight....a real hoot to drive...my question; is CAI worth it for a high milage car that will be driven mildly and well below the red line....it runs so well now I am almost afraid to change anything on the powerplant...thanks and your site has so much information it's like drinking from a fire hydrant...L A

 

No...it won't do much on a Cooper. Welcome...and enjoy that MINI!!!!!

 

Thanks for the reply...going to do the brakes, drilled rotors, decent pads and ss lines...that engine is sweet and the tranny is silk smooth...don't do stop light to stop light at mach 2 anymore...just enjoy good handling and moderate power and not seeing 30 just like mine
