UPDATE: BMW computer system working
All times take place on 10/25
So my car went from Assembly into quality control at 6:05am.
It was then handed over from the factory people to the sales people at 1:25pm
It then handed over to distribution at 1:25 and 10 seconds pm
It was then handed over to transportation to the port at 1:25 and 15 second pm
It was then dispatched from the factory at 7:50pm and arrived at the port at 10:05pm

It is now sitting at the port waiting for the ship, no estimate yet.

I'm jealous... oh, and I think you mean "11/25" rather than "10/25"

From your posts, my car got it's VIN 3 days after yours, but I don't know the current status exactly because ASK MINI wouldn't give me the status code yesterday. Supposedly, they aren't allowed to

MA emailed me this morning that my car is now enroute on the Western Highway. Weblink he gave me shows it progressing across the Northern Atlantic now.

More details...MA says my car is due at the VPC on 12/11...will spend a few days getting its JCW Aerokit installed, then he hopes to have it ready for delivery by Christmas week.

OK, I think the only way I'll be able to stay sane is to watch it cross the Atlantic. Time to go check that thread about tracking your mini...

BTW, I'll be replacing the stock 17's and runflats (JCW Clubman) upon arrival. Anybody interested?

Mine's on the Carmen, but it's not reporting weather apparently, so no word on its exact whereabouts. Due in Port H. on 12/21.

My car allegedly arrived at Charleston on Friday. The big factor now is how long it takes them to fit the JCW body kit at the VPC. Optimistically I might see it late this week for in the days before Christmas...but more likely in the week after.

What boat? If it was the Carmen, were you able to track it on sailwx.com? At any rate my boat still needs to get through the Panama Canal and up to CA. Just glad its not going to Seattle.

Mine was on the Western Highway. Watched it through sailwx but they didn't report every day. It did arrive in Baltimore on schedule and then on to Charleston.

I got my car on Tuesday!! They weather has been bad all week so I only have this picture I took with my phone. And it is of the car before the dealer inspection, so protective materials are still on the car. Once the weather gets better I hope to get some good ones. Then I will post them.
