Hey Everyone!

I will soon be the owner of a new 2008 Cooper S in Pepper White .
I pick her up this Wednesday.

Options it has are:
-6-speed Auto
-Comfort Package
-Chrome Line Package
-Piano Black interior Trim
-Comfort Access

This is a Canadian Cooper S, but I'm trying to search the details about it with the help of this forum. Man, there is a lot of options out there! I keep getting confused with what exactly is in mine vs. USDM Cooper S.

Is there anyway I can check the VIN for options and features of mine? I've never driven the S, only test drove the Clubman as the dealership here in Calgary is very limited with the stock they have. This will be my wife and I second car, which will be her primary car. I drive an 08 Subaru Forester XT, so it will be the second TURBO in our family

I can't wait, as I have to fly out to Vancouver to pick her up. The drive back through the mountains should be a fun time to break her in.

So I have picked up the new Cooper S, and got to drive it through the mountains on the way home. It was a fun 10hr drive from Vancouver to Calgary! I really love how this car drives.

Congratulations and nice pictures of your PW MINI. Nice to have 10 hours to get some good driving time.

I imagine you grin is still on pasted on your face after the drive.

 

I was so surprised at how the MCS handled through the mountains. It didn't hesitate at all, even during passing. It was very fun driving the 10 hrs, even though it was so dark through the mountains. The headlights are unreal and definitely helped out a lot with the drive home.
