You might be right on that cloaking device. Nothing on OL or the WW tracking site. The marinetraffic.com hasn't been updated since yesterday. What the hell???? I need to know that my Clubbie is on solid land again and made it ok

 

Did you guys ever give it some thought about "what" was really going on? l mean lets think outside of the box for a moment! A young person away from it's parental units on the high seas for the first time All hour buffets. Parties that go on into the wee hours. Maybe it went a little like this; a sporty little Laser Blue S winking at the small group of tempting clubbies, and then she takes the top down....HELLO!! Woo! Woo! Woo! Woo! Woo! Yickers shes backed up with a blushing little Nightfire Red and a Cream White with little black racing strips across her bonet. We know that the ship took a little detour in the mid Atlantic, most likely some of the more roady memebers of the group took control of the ship and were playing a little western "Circle the Wagons" with the crew on "C" deck in the middle. Maybe a little romance of Catalina Island, after all that's were they fell off of radar, and they got carried away and fell over board. "Mini over board"!! Or maybe there's a M.O.B. in the water for short. So they stop the boat, turn on the cloaking and hope nobodys watching. Anyway just a thought......

 

The ship has departed Port Huneme headed for Korea or Japan, I can't remember. Anyways it has discharged all the Mini's except probably one that was hiding behind a door............ LOL.....Hope it wasn't mine......
I just checked the ship tracker website I used yesterday to locate the ship and it was headed West.

 

Hmmm, just looked at the link you mentioned and the Traviata is no where to be seen. Also the Auto Cargo tracking on the WW site does not show mine being discharged yet, does yours? Even more strange is the trip tracker does show that she has left Port Hueneme. Hope mine is not the one hidden behind the door

 

WW site auto cargo tracking still shows my car on board. Hopefully it isn't taking a side trip to Japan OL still shows it en route but we all know how slow that is to update.

 

Woohoo, just got confirmation, the WW auto cargo tracking just updated. No side trip to Japan for me. My MINI was discharged off the ship at 18:00 on 10/6.

 

Me, too! Hoping for a weekend delivery -- I've never been this impatient to write a check.

 

Well it looks like even mine made it of the boat BMW's website like this e90post.com, had their ship 6 hours ahead of ours. No tracking across the Atlantic. They had tracking once it hit Southern-Cal shipping lanes. It went towards our Pt. and then back tracked towards LB and SD. We got really lucky So anyway l'd like to thank all of you guys, Maramini, Bearly574, Aznative for your help in tracking Traviata across "The Pond". Post some snaps when you get your hands unglued from the steering wheel and that sh*t eatting grin of your face. If l can offer one advice it would be GET A RADAR DETECTOR. Sorry for the big letters, but it had to be done l Researched many and found the Valentine One, even at almost $400, to be the best, check it old. l'm lucky when my wife comes home from Vegas each week l get to race of in our 03 and still can't wait for mine Cheers to all!

 

Back from vacation and it looks like we're off the boat!

Thanks to Marasmini for the video of the ship going through the locks. May be obsessive, but it's appreciated =). It was cool to see.

She's had a cruise, time for a road trip to Denver.

 

Looks like all of them were discharged at 1800 or maybe they are all buddies like us now and went off the ship together............B

 

Mine is off the boat. 10/6 6pm as the time of the discharge. My MA says delivery some time next week. And that is in Denver! I want to believe him very very much! Can't wait!!!!!

 

The OL just got updated. Mine shows "At distribution center" and if you go to the order details it will show the estimated delivery date as well. Mine is 10/12. The dealers in Colorado do not work on Sundays, so it is probably Monday or Tuesday for me.

 

yay! 10/10 estimated delivery. I'm an hour away from the VDC.

 

Ahhh! Mine isn't in the OL yet. Killing me. :-) But I'm hoping mine will catch the same truck to Denver, so maybe 10/12 with luck...

 

Mine shows estimated delivery to Mini of Mountain View on 10/11, Saturday. Hopefully they got my rims right, it no longer shows white bridge spokes, just bridge spokes. Had the correct rims all the way through production so hopefully this is just a glitch. Everything else looks ok.

 

Does anyone have the jcw body kit or any stripes being painted on at the VDC? If so any word on the ETA?

 

Just noticed another glitch in the OL listing of my car. It has suddenly become a Mini Cooper S 4 door sedan. Very strange.

 

Maybe they upgraded for free

 

Man I hope not. I don't really care for the clubman style myself Looks too much like a station wagon for my tastes. You know, to each their own.

 

Yeah, l hear yea! l put my deposit down and couldn't make up my mind for almost 4 weeks. Finally decided on the clubman because my daughter is 10 and will grow, so the extra space will help. Plus we can't take much of a family trip in the MC, just not enough room for people and stuff. And if l need the smaller version l'll just use my wife's to race around in Kind of the best of both worlds.

 

We also went for the Clubman for more room for your 7 year old.

 

OL for sure is full of glitches. Now my options are all gone and the estimated delivery got shifted to 10/10 (from 10/12) which is a great thing if it is true .

 

Hmmm, all my options just disappeared too. Still show 10/11 at dealer and still shows as 4 door sedan. Don't see how yours going to Colorado could get there before mine to San Jose area. I'm less than 400 miles from VDC.

Guess the cars will get to where they are going when they get there.

 

My mini arrived at the dealer this afternoon. Owners lounge estimated 10/10. So happy but I don't have time to pick it up till sat. *sniffles
