I have tracked my mini to NY on the Patriot docking 08/26/08. The ship then continues to Baltimore and Charleston. I live in Illinois and was wondering which VDC my vehicle would be dropped or how to find out. Your assistance is appreciated!!

Look at the paper work your dealer gave you.. it will say Port Loc = (something)

these are the port codes:


-New York City, NY (Port Loc = NYCPOA) : WW, ~8 days for transport (truly based in Jersey City, NJ)
-Charleston, SC (Port Loc = CHSPOA) : WW and K-Line, ~15 days on WW, ~13 days on K-Line
-Brunswick, GA (Port Loc = SSIPOA) : WW, ~17 days for transport (thanks to Bandit for the Loc Code!)

I would *guess* you would be released off the NY port...

 

Thanks tinker 06 !! Looks like the wait will be longer. Headed to Charleston. I guess I really can't complain. Ordered on 08/01/08 and she is almost at VDC. A few more days can't hurt.

 

Your ship is a couple days behind mine. I ordered from Patrick MINI and my lil' guy is probably headed to the VDC as I write this. About one more week for me and probably a week and a half for you. Cheers!

 

Thanks for the update. I also ordered my Mini from Patrick. St. Louis is closer but they wanted an extra $500 above sticker for "detailing". Looking forward to getting behind the wheel as they are a blast to drive!!
