I keep looking at the tracking website and my MINI is still listed as being on the ship. Is anyone else unloaded. When It was being loaded the website was pretty quick to say it.

 

The Mini Lounge seems to be a few days too slow. I think 1866 ASK MINI has the most updated info. I am assuming that the Integrity is still unloading cargo today.

 

When I call that it says it is at the port waiting for a shipping vessel.

 

Cooper S, check the site again, it was just updated, our MINIs were discharged at 1PM yesterday from the boat.

yeah I got the same thing. My car has nowhere else to go though... it's like 10 miles away from where I am right now. Did you get an email today from Mini asking you to configure your radio, locks, and car lights?

I did not get an email, but I did just email my MA and asked to make sure they have the alarm in stock. That way they can install it quick and get me the car. Hopefully I can get it on Saturday so I do not have to take off of work to get it.

 

Called my MA, got voicemail... she was working yesterday and is working tomorrow, but on vacation today!

I doubt my Clubman teleported to RI overnight and had all of the accessories installed while I was sleeping, so I will just be patient until I hear back from her. Right.

 

FYI - Integrity has left port and is now heading towards MD.

 

I just got an email back from my MA and he said I should not expect the car to leave the dock for a week. That is different than what I have heard on here. Anyway, he said there are 15 cars to go to the dealer before mine.

 

I talked to MA today and got a similar story. Not sure if it was the 4th of July holiday or what, but does not look like it will be this week.

May be dealer by dealer, so do not know whether it will be the same for everyone.

 

My dealer sort of said the same thing.. looks like it's going to take longer than I expected. The vessel my car was on called Integrity docked in NY on Monday. I'm in NY. this is the email she sent me:

[FONT=Century Gothic][SIZE=2]hi anthony!! yes your MINI is making it's way over to us from Great Britain! it's scheduled to arrive to NJ within a few days and then after it is checked in at the port it is put on a carrier to the dealer. we should expect it next week sometime![/SIZE][/FONT]

 

I was told that mine could be at the distribution center for as much as a week before it heads to Otto's.

 

I just got this email from my MA:

Your car was dropped off at the VPC today and is scheduled to be shipped on the 13th and to arrive at the dealership on the 14th. Again, all estimates. So it's likely you could have a delivery late next week of on Sat. the 19.



I thought it was the BMW VDC, What is VPC?

 

VPC is Vehicle Preparation Center

 

I got a call last night from my MA that my Clubman is at the dealer and going through final prep and should be ready in the next day or so. Has anybody else received similar good news??

 

I pick mine up at noon on Wednesday.

 

Mine was released to a car carrier today, should be at dealer tomorrow or Thursday. Maybe a weekend pickup?

 

I was just rereading this and remembered a car matching what you ordered was next to mine. Since you were on the same ship it probably is yours. Here are the pics. Sorry, but my car is mostly in the pics.
