Just got our MINI last week, and wanted to introduce myself.
We are enjoying it more than we ever imagined.
We love the site and found a wealth of information here before we made our purchase, and now that we are owners it's even more fun to read!
MINI's love Maui!

Very nice welcome. Did you order on Oahu and ferry to Maui or does Maui have it's own MINI dealer?

Great color and options, you have lots of great roads to enjoy, a MINI on the Road to Hana sounds delightful right about now.

Maui has a BMW MINI dealership and soon the Big Island of Hawaii will have the same.

It's also easy enough to buy at MINI of Hawaii on Oahu in Honolulu and ship the car on the super ferry over to Maui (goes twice daily now).

gizmodd,

Aloha and welcome to NAM. Check out the local Hawaii MINI club-

minihuni, thanks for the update, you guys are doing better than Colorado.

My daughter just moved over to Oahu and lives in your neighborhood per your location info. She will be a grad student at UH in Chemistry. Right now she is playing.

gizmodd, enjoy that MINI.

MINI was purchased form a private seller (it's about 14 months old/8400miles), and brought it home to Maui on the Superferry.
Great trip and the cost (car was $65 one way) is much more reasonable than the interisland barge system. Plus you don't need to wait several days for it to get to another island. We are selling our 2003 325i.
Rumor has it here that sometime next year the current BMW dealer location is going to become a stricitly MINI dealer and BMW of Maui is building a new showroom at another nearby location in Kahului. We haven't done the road to Hana in the MCS yet but the 911 we have has made many trips to Hana and back. Since we live on the slopes of Haleakala, we have ventured up to the summit with it and needless to say it's a blast!
We also managed to pick up a set of 17" Crown Spoke rims while on Oahu (slightly used but in great condition) and are awaiting a set of BF Goodrich KDW's from Costco to arrive. Needless to say the car was pretty full when it made the voyage to Maui!
Mahalo for the warm welcome everyone.
