My vin shows nothing and I ended production on teh 12th. Don't feel bad

 

Well I ended production on the 12th and I'm just now getting on this boat. Sounds about right to me. We are an impatient lot aren't we?

 

Just checked WW and I've been updated to "Loaded on Vessel!" According to the port news she's scheduled to pull out at 1800 which is about noon for us east coast folks.

 

Mine too. Finally! I've been waiting for the boat for a while now and now it seems like it's taking forever to get underway. Do you know when the Courage is supposed to get into Charleston, SC?

I never in a million years thought I would ever be tracking a cargo boat! Wheeeeeeee the boat is finally underway!!!! :D :D

 

According to W&W, they're now saying:

NY - 7/1
Baltimore - 7/3
Charleston - 7/6
Brunswick, GA - 7/8

Click on the voyage number on the tracking page - red has happened, black is upcoming.

 

I must have missed this boat. I'm still not tracking and I'm still 'awaiting transport'.

The OL still has me as waiting transport as well. Haven't called the 866 number today though. Shocking. lol I'm sure they will be calling me any minute to check on me

Thank goodness we have the WW site to put our VINs in to see the status or I'd be even more of a mess. The 866 site and OL just doesn't cut it sometimes.

 

You may be on a K-line ship. Which comes in before the WW ship, but is not trackable. I don't think I made the Courage either... so I hope I'm on the Kline ship. Also, I've heard of people having their info on all sites and by ask mini say that its awaiting transport, then half-way through shipping it updates to let them know they made the ship.... Good luck to you! I need it too!

 

If your car has left the factory then 1866 ASK-MINI can't be of any more assistance to you as far as I'm aware. I'm sure somebody will correct me if I'm wrong

Based on what I can tell -- I don't think I made the Courage. I just called Ask Mini again, and the nice lady told me that my car arrived at port today. I don't think they would have offloaded off freight and then stuck it on a boat today, so I'm going to guess I'm stuck in limbo again for a couple days.

 

I was at the dock on the 12th or 13th and just got on the boat today...loaded a day or two ago. So it seems to take about a week to get on a boat.

 

Well that stinks. I'm hoping they slip me on the K-line to Charleston that is leaving in a couple days. That's plausable, right?

 

Oh I know that feeling. I was hoping to get on the Fedora on the 17th but alas it didn't happen.

I'm on this rust bucket!!!! It'll let my car off at NY. Hopefully Mozza's will be on here too. These are two extra special cars Not minimizing the specialness of all your beautiful cars .

 

I made it! haha! Somebody must have really wanted to get my car on this ship as it only left the factory yesterday but according to the WW website I'm loaded on the Courage! YESSSSSS!!

Actually I'd just be happy if my MA would call me back. I wanted to tweak some of the dealer options before it was too late and they draw up the paperwork. I've emailed and left a message on his office and cell and nuthin! They are good though, so I'm sure he was just swamped.

 

I have no negatives about my MA -- just a short story. When I called to ask about conflicting status reports from The Lounge vs. 866 ASK MINI, she said, "Oh. You're one of those people."

I laughed. "Um. I guess so."

It never occurred to me that some of us (new owners waiting eagerly) might not be as, uh, well...excited as others.

 

Hi!

Having a great time - this ship rocks! The second full day at sea and there's so much to do. I get up late and hit the health club then there are so many other things scheduled I couldn't get bored if I tried!

The MINIs are a party group and we take over the disco and dance all night. We've noticed the BMWs are a bit stand-offish and go to bed early but I guess that's ok.

Even though this is a blast, I can't wait to get home and see you, Penfold and Tink. Send them my best.
