Just Ordered Today: How do I find out what week I am in?

After many months of contemplation and angst I have finally ordered my MINI.

My local dealer MINI of Fairfield County, Connecticut did not have anything on the lot that was close to my spec (my budget will keep me in a very basic MINI) so I order one that is exactly to my liking. They are promising a mid August delivery as they had a few allocations left.

Questions:

How do I find out waht week I am so I can follow the appropriate thread on NAM? My MA says I should get my production number via email in less than a week or he will call me when he get's it.

Does anyone have experience with the standard audio system? I did not go for the premium system and all of the cars on the lot had the premium.

My car is as follows:

MC
Chili Red w/white roof
Chrome line exterior
Manual Trans
White Bonnet Stripes
White alloy wheels
Multi Function Sport Wheel

Thanks in advance for any feedback you may have

Of course now I am like a kid before Christmas waiting for this baby to come in.

My production # was on the paperwork that my MA gave me the day I ordered. Give your MA a call to see if he/she has it, then call 1-866-ASK-MINI. They gave me my production week.

Call him back in a week. He will be able to give you a production number and the week at that time. He probably is out of allocations for now and will not have a production number until then.

He said that he would have the production number in about a week. He also took my email and said that MINI will email me the number and that many times the customer will have it before then.

Thanks for the confirmation.

Welcome to the club. Don't worry about not having a lot of options - Mini's are pretty loaded up to start with. You did get the one thing that I personally feel is the most important option - the MFSW. Its amazing how fast you get used to it and how much you miss it when driving a car without.
