All:

If you've seen my previous post, you'll see I got stuck with a bad mini from Drive 1 a few weeks ago.

I'm happy to report that the new (to me) cooper that replaced it, a nice shiny 2002 with only 36,000 miles on it just completed a coast to coast trip, from Charlotesville, VA to Santa Monica, CA with NO problems, and this includes outrunning tornadoes through Oklahoma, and most of the mid-west states.

My only suggestion is pack light, and carry a couple of cans of "clean linen" spray, as things get a little snug after a bit.

6600 miles? Did you get lost or something?

I'm getting ready to do Baltimore to Kansas to Georgia (the state, not the country) to Long Beach, and that's only 4400 or so miles.

 

Well, I took a LOT of side trips..... and we came back up through South Dakota..

 

Oh, good. I was worried you were going to say that you came back via Georgia (the country, not the state).

Me, I'm driving from Germany to Hawaii. 12 time zones, or half way around the world. From autobahns and the Nordschleife, to a freakin' island.

abuzavi... Are you originally from Hawaii? Or did you decide to move there? Hawaii is gorgeous just wish the cost of living wasn't so high!
