O.K. I am going to take the plunge and place my order for a new Clubman later today. Trading in my MB E300 turbo for a Clubman! However, I am really torn between the SS/B vs. PW/B. I usually hold onto my cars for the long haul (7-10 years) and would like to hear from this very knowledgeable group which body combination would hold its value and look the best after a number of years on the road? By the way, I have not yet mastered the abbreviation code but either way, I like the combo. Choc/Material sport seats with the oak interior.
Looking forward to reading your responses and just cruising the pages as I anxiously await the new arrival.

Both are great color combos. I havent seen to many clubmans here in FL. But the ones that I have seen in CR, PW, AB are stunning....

Don't be silly...there is no color of Mini that holds it's value more than others, unless you count the "discontinued" or "retired" colors (like Night fire red, silk green, etc.) Congrats on your very WISE decision, however, and I hope you find what you're looking for! Just for FYI sake, there are a few threads on this site that have pictures posted (of MCS -- Mini Cooper S; MC -- Mini Cooper; and of course the body types of R56 -- 2007+, etc.) That way you might be able to see better combinations without having to leave the house! Good luck.

Welcome to the MINIverse.
I think PW/B more striking.

Thanks for your input everyone. My wife likes the SS, or as she calls it "champagne." I am a somewhat partial toward the PW. Either way, I look forward to the driving experience.
