really? i'll go take a look.

I really want an update also, where is the boat. I think Altoid may have passed out for a while to recover from all the partying.

I'm on the Patriot also (Dark Silver/Black/Black Bonnet Stripes, Premium, Rooster Red/Red Color Line, CWP, Webspokes, Piano Black, LSD/DSC,HiFi). SailWx is not showing progress for two days. She last called in a weather report on 6-10. Has anyone found out where she is now?

another update. Parallel to maine now... Looks like on google maps about 900 miles from NY.

Google maps view is way cooler..

Copy/paste this to google maps: [SIZE=-1] N 43°18', W 054°18'

have to zoom out a bit.

Or this direct link may work too..

http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=navclient&gfns=1&q=N%2043%C2%B018'%2C%2 0W%20054%C2%B018'&safe=on&um=1&sa=N&tab=wl

New york harbour still says arriving tuesday the 17th at 6am.. Man it looks so close as if it could land tomorrow. haha

so did some checking../math it is getting about 250 miles every 12 hours. Based on that speed, that would put it into NY Sunday morning. However obviously it slows down as it gets closer to land... But that could still easily put it there Sunday evening right?

No way it will arrive on tuesday..

based on connecting the dots, the patriot is doing about 200 miles every 12 hours.. rough check is 400 miles to NY now. again, i am sure they slow down speed closer to land.. that still put the ship into NY around midnight early monday the 16th. no way it will be tuesday..

Based on an update of May 28, the schedule says arriving on the 17th, one day late at 6am. Which makes sense since it got to South Hampton one day late..

WW site still says arriving on the 16th.

*shrug

*EDIT*

Bad copy/paste job. Click that link and you will see it better.

Clicking the above link, the port has a new arrival time. It says the patriot is scheduled to arrive the 16th at 1700. Departs the 17th at 0100

I don't understand how to use it to follow The Patriot.

Although, we are not there yet.

Click that link.

In the drop down select NY
US - New York Approach (boats coming in)
US - New York Hourbor (boats at dock)

ONce you select one of the two, the list of boats it is tracking will be on the left. Once the patriot gets close to get picked up, it will show on one of those two drop downs.

that help?

patriot is getting pretty close to shore, so i doubt it will post any more weather reports.

Now we will just have to watch the port AIS information.

1700 time for tomorrow still seems late... but oh well

According to http://www.siitech.net/VTSLite/AView.aspx she is here:40°28.321'N,73°46.758'W so that means she is less than 50 miles from port.
