Bluetooth Entry for Hands free phone

When one enters a name in the phonebook, you give the name and then the number. But if you are a calling a pager, for instance, you must insert special characters and pauses in addition to the number. Does anyone have this list of characters and their commands?

If you're getting the phone's address book to transfer accross, I'd guess that this would be specific to the phone. I've had one phone where you entered a # sign in to the contact's number, and IIRC another phone I had used a letter 'p'.

If you're saving phone number in the 'manual' way (by speaking the name and number and saying "save") I don't think there's any published options- just the numbers. If so you might want to try just saying "options" when you get to the number entering part- even then the car doesn't list all of the options available though.
