Hey everyone!

Just got a new 2008 Chili Red/White Cooper S and I'm really enjoying it.


As the subject line stated I'm a former Subaru driver. I had an 06 Impreza STi pushing 350+ HP. Needless to say it's a step down performance wise.


I drive 45 min to work then 45 min back home everyday. I was spending $100 a week on gas, so something had to be done.

I've always liked the MINI, and I'm glad I waited. This go kart makes the trip to work really enjoyable.

I look forward to local events and taking "Jarvis" (his unofficial name) to the dragon up north.

Former Subaru driver here! Had an Outback Sport. It ran great, looked good and still brought in $8000 after nine stress free years of ownership.

We traded in the wife's RX330 for a Fit as well.
30+ min drive to work for the both of us sucks.

 

Well you have company.... currently on my 4th personal Subie an 08 Legacy GT. Our 08 MCS is due for delivery this week. Plan to use it to commute work during the Spring to Fall and my Subie for the winter months. Driving the Subie it feels like a boat compared to the Mini, so nimble. Welcome.

 

Nice! I'm also a fellow Subaru addict. I've got an Outback XT, and honestly was really close to buying a Legacy GT, or a Legacy 3.0R. But with the way gas prices are going, I decided to go with a Clubman S instead, and I'm sure I wont regret it!

 

My husband had a WRX, 350Z, and most recently an S2000 and he is really enjoying the MCS. You really shouldn't compare, as each car holds its own, but he's having fun with HoneyBee

 

Yep for sure you can't compare.... Subie are simply amazing winter cars up here in Canada where we get some real snow. Mini rocks Spring to Fall. Hey that is a really cool signature...
