NEWBIE and need a MINI

Hello all. Well with gas going through roof and I was always looking for a functional yet fun car, the decision has been made. It was a toss up between GTI or MINI and Mini won. I want to wait for the JCW package that is coming out (I guess that takes some ofthe function out, mpg?) to order. Can people tell me what option they love in their car the most, and if they fell they missed one, which would they get today if they could?

Thanks,
Kayel
PS. Anyone know the MPG numbers on the new JCW?

Welcome to the NAM family! You'll love the decision to get a MINI.

What would I have added on? If they were free, I'd add a number of things. but since they're not, I'm pleased with the choices I've made on my new baby that is en-route. Bimini will be our 3rd MINI. My first, as the others were/are the wife's. My wife would have added PDC on Tinkerbell, but since we bought Tink off the lot as a dealer loan car, weren't able to choose options really.

thanks mysticturner. I would almost run to dealership this weekend, but I really want the speed in JCW. I probabaly wouldn't even miss it but I like speed... although I am getting more cautious

in my opinion

I just bought a 2002 this week, and I feel very strongly that it should have cruise control. I'm not sure if that comes standard on new ones or not, but no one should be without it.
