Clubman - Thule Roof Rack problems ???

I will be picking up my new Clubman in a few days and thought I would plan ahead for installing the "MINI Thule Roof Rack". I was informed from the dealer that there is a "fit issue" regarding the rack. Apparently the window on the passenger side has been found to "bulge out" somewhat, causing a leak at that point.

Might be because the weight or pressure directly on the factory installed "clip" is not as sturdy as it could be because it is positioned over the "3rd or suicide door" on the passenger side.

I'm wondering if anyone has found this to be a problem yet or if you are aware of a "fix" in the offing? Thanks !!

Take a look over in the Clubman talk forum.
The roof rack issue is still at the top of our list. MANY of us need the rack for bikes and the like. You short-bike riders can just fold the seats and toss 'em in. Us tandem riders ~really~ need a rack.

I proposed that we all write to Thule, Yakima and BMW/MINI to get the interest level up there.

Hey Steve...

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't realize there was a forum. I'm new here and will take a bit to get familiar. Appreciate your help. Have a good one!
