Howdy, people. New guy here. Bought a used 06 Mini w/19,700 for $14k & change, ordered a few doodads - splash guards, stubby antenna, cocomats, looking at a powered mini(ha!)sub.. just checking in. Lots of great info on this forum! Any recent advice on the splash guard install (did a search already & saw some good info) or powered sub?

Sounds like you got a great price on your car (I'm assuming based on price that it is an MC, not MCS, correct?)

Only advice to to troll the boards for both answers and used stuff. Lots of good deals in the marketplace...

Even if this was for a Justacooper, that was an awesome deal for an '06--probably the finest vintage new-gen MINI year. Did it come with tires and wheels? Paint? An engine?

Welcome aboard! Pretty new to MINIs myself. Watch out its contagious. My first Mini was an '06, regular not a "S", bought mine with 22K miles and needed new tires and A/C work for $14750, so I think you got a steal. Anyway, loved it so much, had so much fun, sold it 6 months later, got what I had in it (thanks to MINI for the great re-sale value ), and my '08 MCS will be here next week!!
Moral of the story, driving and living MC life is addictive!! Have fun!

The '06 is a nice ride...of course I'm a bit prejudiced...we bought our '06 MC with 7k miles on it and it's a blast to drive...uh, I mean motor.

Just got back from a ride (*Edit: "motoring", sorry!*) on the FLA turnpike (with the tires properly inflated - dealers are morons, but that's a different subject).
