Mini revisited.
Mini revisited.
Hello to all and allow me the following brief introduction.
I am a retread Mini owner the first one being a 1965 1275/1293 with Weber DCOE and Colotti 5-speed. This first one became quite familiar with the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring which was a short hop from Cologne where I lived and worked at Ford of Germany.
Second time around finds me at Fernandina Beach, FL where this Cooper S will be my daily driver and will remain stock. It was ordered a few days ago and should arrive in about 8 weeks.
Glad to have found this community and thank you for allowing me to join.

It really is quite surprising that as many join as they do. With the size of this group, it gets pretty expensive.(Just kidding and welcome again!)
We're here to help you wait (excitement, like misery, loves company).
Congrats on your MINI!!! It is truly amazing that the Mini has undergone such a transformation between classic and new and still remains such a vibrant, relevant marque. I suppose we have the classic Mini to thank...if that hadn't been the benchmark, I don't think BMW would have gotten it so right. It's an amazing story really and it's great fun, as an owner, to be a part of it in some small way.
