Where to Track (race) your Mini?

I'm wondering what opportunities there are for either getting some serious lessons or at least having a go on a track; I live in the SF Bay Area; What does this kind of thing cost, too?

Thanks,
Tony

Hey neighbor,
Try www.nasaproracing.com for HPDE = high performance driving experience.
NASA has driving instruction between racing at the same events in four different groups. Group 1 is for first timers and an instructor will be in your street car as copilot. You will also go to classroom instruction between your on track time. Cost is $159 single day or $299 for two days. You will have 4 20-25 minute sessions on track and as a beginer that will tucker you out.
Next up for NASA is May 3-4 at thunderhill raceway.

I just looked at you signature, MINI is not here yet. Congrats on the new order. If you have another car you can still start to learn how to drive on track. If you come out to the NASA event you can get a ride along with me, I'll take you out and give you an E ticket ride.

Search for BMW clubs in your area. Here in North Texas, the BMW club is real friendly towards MINI owners and they allow us to race in the monthly autocross (AX) event.
