I was about to order a MCS with works pkg but then saw that a new one is to come sometime this summer with more HP, better seats and larger screen Nav etc.. So I decided to wait. Disappointed! Then saw that the works pkg for the convert. is different and more powerful than what you can currently get for the MCS and is same as what is to come. Seems peculiar to me but I'm new to mini. Any one order a MCS with works recently despite the impending change?

The convertible is still the first-generation body style and uses the older supercharged engine. As a result, it also uses the latest version of the first-gen JCW package. (The first-gen JCW package was incrementally improved over the years, much as it appears the R56 package is being improved).
