Placed my order for a BRG Clubman S. Test drove the car several times and am convinced I made the right choice. It will be a little time until I take delivery as I ordered the car for delivery the day before my birthday in September when my current lease is up. Negotiated MSRP with floor mats and no additional dealer fees. First time I paid MSRP for a car, but I understand that is PAR for the course.

Looking forward to attending MOTD 2009. Are the dates set for that yet?

(But you did pick the best color!) I am really liking the gotham gray-- I hadn't seen it in person when I ordered, but I like it.

Great choice of color, it's just too bad that you're going to have to wait so long. I could never have done that! I'm hoping to take delivery of mine some time this week.

Congrats on your order

I have had mine for exactly . . . . 23 days. Today I crossed over 1000 miles on the odometer. I did my first real mod this weekend . . . . I had the ALTA 22mm rear sway bar installed. The cars corners as if on rails.

I hope your wait is less painful than mine. It's a good thing you have the community of NAM to help ease your frustration. I ended up finding a similar car on a lot and buying it instead of my ordered vehicle. I ended up negotiating to MSRP and getting more car for less money. The car I ordered is due to land in a few days. It a good thing that you can wait till September.

Well, I went ahead and booked a room for MOTD 2009 so I could put my Mini to good use. Looks like the NAV system was a good investment as I will be driving from St. Louis!
