Hey guys, I think my last post was somewhere around two years ago, fresh out of high school, announcing I was following my dream and attending a Skip Barber professional racing school.
Things have changed and progressed quite a bit since then, and my enthusiasm and motivation for a professional career has all but grown. On the same note, my passion for the Mini Cooper has anything but fallen. From accompanying me in multiple trips to VIR, Mid-Ohio and nearly Pocono, I can still say that this is one of most cars to drive. When not behind the wheel of a race car or kart, it is the Mini that keeps me sharp.
As far as the racing goes, I learned quickly that racing is a combination of talent not only behind the cockpit, but in the business world as well. Several weeks ago I was selected as one of the final 100 drivers to participate in the VW Jetta TDi Cup, a new professional series, and unfortunately just fell short of the required budget. Since then, I have worked hard to improve my business and marketing side, and have great plans for the future.
As much as racing is working and waiting for the certain 'somebody' to steer you in the right path or help you out, I only try to be that certain 'someone' to other individuals. If anyone has any questions about racing, or still has that desire to follow their racing dream, please shoot me a pm.
