Hi all..new guy here!

I am the proud owner of Winston our brand new Dark Gray 2008 MINI Cooper S...I had to give up my 1997 E36 M3 Heidi in the process...Sad cause that car handled like a dream, but was sadly getting too old.

I'm looking forward to learning lots, and having fun with my car.

So what's my first mod?

Welcome to the NAMily.

If you want this car to handle better than stock, then head on over to the suspension mod section of the forum.

Some of the most satisfying mods for me have been rather cheap. I'm saving up for the spendy ones. ie. cross coilovers, Turboback exhaust etc.

Have fun!

Sounds like a plan...Stupid question...Does suspension modification of any kind void warranty?

Welcome!

Sounds like non-runflat summer tires and a stiffer rear swaybar are pretty popular handling mod-wise, intake and cat or turbo back exhaust on the go fast front.

That's what I was thinking...Though tint and clear bra might be the very first things I do...California Sun in traffic for the loss

Thanks...people seem really friendly on this board. The last board I was on had lots flaming and juvenile things...this one seems to be very balanced.

I will try to post some pics of Winston in all his STOCK glory.
