Hey everybody! Coming from a Toyota 4Runner and yotatech.com, I've been lurking here since day 1, cruising every forum.

I got an 08 MC 6mt in Astro Black. Moonroof, Convenience Pkg, Chrome, Anthracite, w/ DSC.

13 days and 1700 miles (I commute) later, the car's been nothing but a blast to drive!

Just yesterday, some clumsy shopper smashed her shopping cart into my tail light and shattered it. Looks like it's already heading to the body shop!

Overall, great car!

 

you'll soon find yourself parking FAAAAAAR away from the entrances (along with the some lotus/benz/bmw/etc vehicles) when it comes to places that involve shopping carts.

 

There is something about a new car that attracts shopping carts.

 

Congrats on the MC....and sorry about the boo-boo. Was the paint okay??

It's kind of ironic. I've parked it in the last row since the day I got it! Heck, I've been avoiding EVERYTHING that could possibly damage it! She somehow managed to save the paint. I'd REALLY be pissed if it needed paintwork.

This is my first brand new car, and none of my prior cars have EVER been damaged in ANY way in a parking lot! To top it off, at less than 500 miles I got tagged by a nice rock to the windshield..

*sigh*

I've been trying to convince the S/O to let me trade it in on a MCS already. Haven't even made the first payment.
