Does anyone know if Mini will have a problem with a 21 year old going into test drive? I plan on buying, just want to solidify my decision, but I could understand if they don't want any random kids going into there to test drive for fun. Any input?

 

I think you should be good, I'm 17 and Otto's Mini wouldnt let me test drive a new Mini (even though I have my own). I think they said you have to be at least 18 to drive with a salesman, and at least 21 to drive by yourself. Rules are different at different dealerships though, just go in and ask

 

I test drove at 3 dealerships last week and they just handed me the keys and off I went in my own after a copy of my license. I'm 22. If you look serious and they might get a sale they will do whatever it takes.

 

yea you will be fine, im 17 and i was with a bunch of friends, and we went for a test drive, with the dealer sitting in the passenger seat of course.
