Hi all,

Just wanted to introduce myself as a new member to NAM. Spent almost a year making the decision to go with a Mini, and after driving one for the past month I have no doubt I made the correct decision!

I was originally going to order an 08 MCS, but while I was deciding when to order Adam at ALTA said he was selling one of his show cars. The 02 MCS was in fantastic condition with only 4800 mi (poor thing, so little driving in his life) and loaded with modifications. It had everything I would have ordered on the R56, and I still have a slight preference for the R53 body style. The guys at ALTA did a fantastic job of adjusting the engine and exhaust modifications so they would fit my driving style. They also had everything in pristine condition when I came for the final pick-up.

I am very happy with the performance and have fallen in love with the way the Mini handles. Wish I would have started having this much fun driving a long time ago!
