New member hello
Hello Everyone!! 
I live in Los Angeles and just found NAM recently. As a first time MINI owner (I've had 4 Hondas) it's a whole new world here and I'm learning tons reading the various posts. I absolutely LOVE these little cars!! My little guy is named Jake and he's an '07 MCS LB/W 6spd. Looking forward to participating in some events or possibly joining a club in the future...

Welcome to NAM and the wonderful world of MINIs!!!
Check out the regional forums. There are several groups in LA that are really active. I'm south of the Orange curtain, so don't get up there much at all, but I know the SCMM group gets together throughout So Cal throughout the month on a regular basis. There are other groups as well!

Hello everyone and thanks for the warm welcome - such a great group here! I haven't had a chance to get up the coastline yet but I've been enjoying Sunset Bl. What a hoot!! 
Scoopmama, I was thinking about checking out SoCal MINI Maniacs. They seem like a nice bunch and quite active. Have you gone on any rides with them? MINIclo, I'm in West L.A. as well. I see MINIs everywhere! Thanks again to all of you - glad to be part of NAM!

Hi! Yeah, I'm with ya... I'm married with two kids as well so I don't know how many events I'll be able to do either. I missed the Maniacs' Malibu breakfast this morning but I hope to get to Seal Beach next weekend. Your ride sounded great - thanks again!
