Howdy from a tall guy!
Hello!
How are you fine people doing on this board today!
So, I've been car shopping for two years or so and I've looked at everything, and I do mean everything... (see list below!)
Ford Ranger
Cobalt SS Supercharged
Pontiac G5
Mazdaspeed3
Mazdaspeed6
Dodge Charger R/T and SRT8
Pontiac G6 GTP Coupe
I was going to buy the Mazdaspeed3 this summer. Was, until I had a buddy who told me about the Cooper S. I had never given Coopers much thought until I did some research, and I must say I was more than pleasantly surprised. Now, one might wonder why I did not chose any of the fine automobiles listed above. Well, I have trouble fitting in them. I'm 6' 8".
The Cooper S is one of the few cars that I can say I fit in and am absolutely comfortable in. Congrats Mini. You made a tall dude happy.
My only question is how reliable are Mini's? My dealership is a way aways? Also, can you have them serviced at a BMW dealership?

P.S.: I like the dark silver w/ black bonnet strips, black top, and the chrome package.

Welcome to NAM. 
The BMW dealership will not work on a MINI. I believe they are not allowed to.
My 2006 R53 MCS has been dead reliable for 35,000 miles. The new MINI's are R56's & are different in a few ways. Driveline, body shape & interior, but there have many things in common too.
