My first MINI
Good day all,
Just took delivery of my first mini yesterday. '08 MCC Sidewalk White/Silver. Looking forward to top down motoring ASAP as it is below freezing and there is a light coating of snow on the ground. Did ~130 miles yesterday but had to keep from pushing it to the limits during the break-in period.
Hope to get involved with others in the CT / NYC area soon!

Also, is it me, or is there a scoop on that bonnet ? Appears to be a MCSC.

Sorry, I meant to put MCSC in my .sig. Will update it immediately.
The color is White/Silver. It is a limited color only available this year on the Sidewalk package.

Congratulations.
I think that I sat in you car on 1/24! They said it was being picked up that Saturday!
Did you specifically want the Sidewalk package or take it because it was available? I'm trying to decide whether I want that package or not.

Yup, that was the one. I did want the Sidewalk. I love the white/silver and the malt seats and the blackout wheels. All are Sidewalk only and I suspect it will always be pretty rare. With my last car (non-Mini) I saw myself coming and going frequently and really wanted to avoid it this time.
