I love my MINI and we have a blast in it. Would someone be kind enough to explain what MINIS on the Dragon is, exactly. It looks rather intersting. Thanks.

that should explain what the dragon is. MINIs on the dragon being an event where a lot of MINIs show up and take the drive together. Although it's too far for me, and I will stick with Malibu.

 

In short, it's a really incredible time. Book your room at Fontana Village as early as possible. People book rooms there a year in advance, like me. It's the best place to stay, just walk outside your room and "bammm" Minis everywhere you look. Looks of interesting minis and a wide selection of vendors show up. Planned dinners to attend, beer swaps, demos, rallies, scenic drives, group photos, etc. So much to see and do. It's really an awesome time.

 

A review and some details here.

 

Mini's on the Dragon, was my first mini cooper "function kinda thing" It was so awesome to meet so many nice people, and to see some very beautiful mini's! I recommend it to anyone. Unfortunately Fontana is now on a wait list, but there are other hotels in the area. It is better to stay at Fontana, but if you can't you definitely will still have a great time.
Awesome roads, great cars, cool peeps.. can it get anybettah? yeah it could, it could be this week lol !

I'm new to NAM. I just got my 04 MCS in June. I really want to go to MOTD this year. Wondering if anyone has stayed at the Phillips Motel. I reserved a room, just wondering if anyone had any feedback.
