I have been on this forum for a short time and I could not locate any threads with a description on the following: R50, R52, R53, R55, R56, and R57 is this refering to chassis types? If so what is the breakdown?

Thanks for the information and if I read this correctly I have an 05 mini (non-s) so is my car designation an R50 or R53?

So, would a 2006 mini (non-s) be an R52 and a 2005 mini S be an R53?
