Hello gang,

I hope to become a MINI Convertable S owner in the next 3-4 months and wanted to cram for my purchase by hanging around here. My pledge is to search for answers to those easy questions before going newbie on everyone.

Abridged car bio:
My last 4 cars were; 1999 Miata, 1989 VW Cabriolet, 1982 Fiat X1/9, 1979 Fiat X1/9. I've had convertables long enough to hopefully avoid having a MINI referred to as a mid-life crisis .

So far, the research and shopping experience have been fun. I've built a few configurations on line and made one dealer visit.
