dealer recommendation?

Hi all,
Ok, set to buy a Mini, I live in southern NH, and I know of two dealerships in the Boston area that i am considering: Mini of Peabody and Herb Chambers BMW/Porsche/Mini of Boston. Any feedback of who is best to go with?
I've been to both, and got a better feel at the Boston location, but I have no real service experience to go on. Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks-
Pete

Hi, Pete,

I bought mine at Herb Chambers after visiting Mini of Peabody. I was disappointed with MoP, given the blatant rudeness I experienced. The person I dealth with at MoP was very condescending and acted as if he were doing me a gigantic favor. At Herb Chambers, I dealt with 2 sales people, who were both knowledgeable, capable, and happy to work with me. My friend, who also bought a MINI there, had a similar experience. We both dealt with Richard Tran. Since then, service manager Mark Ravin has been terrific to work with. These are only the experiences of 2 MINI owners, but I hope it helps.... Good luck!

I've heard so many scary stories about Herb Chambers that I just stayed away full stop and went straight to Mini of Peabody. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful, even at the end of the day and while they were very busy. I ended up ordering my Clubman S from Ed Marsi there and so far have had a very positive experience. if you're unsure about where to go, I'd suggest just to check them both out and see how you feel and how you're treated.
