New to Mini

Hi all. I just put 1k miles on my MINI. Already I've been asked "how do you like it?" That never happened with my Toyota. It has been a fun car but I have to watch my speed!!! I get up to 90 without thinking

I have the same problem with the speed! It's easy to do without noticing!

I did the same thing in the first few thousand miles. Now I do it on purpose.

According to the Mini Coooper S manual at ol.miniusa.com it is 100mph:

Up to 1,200 miles/2,000 km

Drive at varying engine and road speeds, but do not exceed the following:
> 4,500/min or 100 mph/160 km/h

Avoid full-throttle operation and use of the transmission's kick-down mode.
