Ok guys, here is the situation: I am going nuts. I think my 10/10 production is still sitting on the docks in Southampton. A few days ago, my dealer said the car will most likely ship either on Tuesday or Wednesday this week. But here is the problem: I asked them what the name of the shipping company is and they don't know yet. How can they know when my car will ship if they don't know the name of the shipping company? Also, I am in Florida so I guess my VDC is Charleston. I checked both K-line and WW sites and the ships leaving for Charleston do not leave until Friday and Saturday. However, the WW site shows two ships leaving for Brunswick, Georgia on Wednesday and Thursday. So, does anyone know if they ship MINIs to Brunswick, which is like 3 hours of driving away from Charleston? The WW site still does not show anything for my VIN though, so at this point I can only guesstimate about my MINI being shipped to Brunswick. Of course, the other possibility is that the dealer could be telling me bunch of bullcrap to keep me quiet. I hate this waiting!

 

I have not seen any posts about Minis being discharged at Brunswick. If you are booked on a WW ship, the booking info for your VIN # will not usually be available online till 24-48 prior to a ships arrivial at Southampton.
If you are booked on a K-Line ship, then about the only source for ship info will be from your MA. As for the estimated shipping date from your MA, appears he is just making a guess.

 

OK guys, never mind my first message in this thread. I just heard back from my dealer. It looks like my car already shipped on K-line last Friday and it should arrive in Charleston on 10/31!
