I can't seem to navigate my way around to the east coast to try and track the Dyvi Puebla's approach to Charleston -- I can get the world overview, but I can't zoom in on the east coast...

How are people using the free aislive service to track ships as they approach the us, as the tracking thread suggests?

Goto ShineMicro.com and use the Google Maps AIS feature. You can search by vessel name. Registration is free.

 

Ahh... well no luck there. Can't find the ship.

The tracking doesn't go farther south than North Carolina either, maybe that means its real, real close...

 

Oh it's real, real close alright. In fact it's docked! It arrived in Charleston on 10.09.07.
