Well, it is inevitable, if you lurk around here long enough, you will catch the Mini fever. This is what happened to me, I caught the fever and got myself a MCS .
So, just want to say hi and hope to learn from all of you.
So far no plans for any mod, just plan to drive it a lot!
I did ask the dealer to install the Motorola Razr adapter in the arm rest, hides the phone while it charges and uses the external antenna. pretty nifty.

It just gets worse . . . I'm 5 years and 4 minis into the program and there seems to be no cure. Welcome aboard!

I wasn't aware that there was a Razr insert. How much did it cost, and do you know what the part number is? Also, do you notice a difference in signal strength by using the external antenna?
Congratulations on your purchase. You car looks great.
It costs $175, but I did not see the part number. Installation was free, but it is simple enough for DYI. The signal strength seems to be the same to me, the cool part is that since I have the bluetooth set up, I just leave the phone in the arm rest and forget about it.
