I Need Some Advice..

Hello, all of you Mini Gurus and other enthusiasts!

My name is Billy and even though my sixteenth birthday is not untill the 31st of this month, I already bought a Mini. (it's an '06 checkmate, non S) My parents made the down payment and paid one of the first car payments, but I've been working and paying the rest, so my cash flow is limited. For my birthday, I am of course wanting to get a cold air intake, and anything else that will increase the performance of my car.(I just don't know what brands to stick to)
It is our intention to get a bigger sway bar and running lights. I would greatly appreciate ANY and ALL advice as to what else I should get, and where I should get it from. Now remember, these are birthday gift ideas, and if the price is a little bit too high, I will throw some dough in as well.

Hi Billy. Welcome. I for one am pretty satisfied with the engineering BMW has done . . . gains given by individual mods can often be lost if they don't integrate well with the rest of the components. Of course, I'm the sort who advises a real killer, but one who is not knowledgable in firearms, that a single shot 22 short is really the way to go for mayhem!

As for style, no limit there. Driving lights are great. Graphics are great.

Welcome to motoring!!! Man, not a bad birthday present. Have fun with it. The driving lights are an awesome idea. A CAI is a good thing too. Better MPG, better sound, and a little more response.

I agree, "out of the box", it's an awesome machine. The first time I rode in one while my dad put it to the test, I knew that these cars were something else! Thanks for the tip!
