ok i have a 2003 cooper and well for some od reason my glove box just stopped staying closed.its almost like the spring in the latch is broke or somthing and not only that it looks like there is alot of wear on the latch..and funny enough as it is this started to happen like 100 miles after my warranty ran out..any ideas on how to fix this and has this happen to anyone else?

seriously though, you could probably just order the mechanism from a dealer and put it in yourself!
