Hi, I was prompted to pop a post in the 1st Gear Forum from a tag line on the top of the page so here I go ....
I'm Richard, 27 from the UK (I am also known worldwide by my work name of 'The Stig' so feel free to refer to me by any of these 3 possible names
)
I own a 2002 August built Chilli Cooper S in dark silver with black roof and trim. Previously I had a new from factory 2003 pure silver and black Chilli Cooper. Since getting the S I have made a number of mods and its easier to just list them;
Aero side skirts
Aero front bumper
Black S side indicator grills with smoked indicators
Black projector rear lamps
Black bonnet scoop, being replaced by a black M7 Ultimate scoop
Ultrik stubby ariel
Black tax disc holder
John Cooper signature stickers on the doors
Black Team Dynamic Pro Race 1.2 wheels (17x7 with 215/40 Falken 452 tyres)
JCW front brakes and slotted rear discs with JCW pads
KW -35mm lowered springs
Alta v1 15% pulley with reduced belt
Self tweeked bypass valve (due for some more attention soon
)
Alta v1 CAI in red
NGK colder range Irridium plugs
Alta oil catch can (subsiquently removed )
Milltek manifold/cat
Milltek exhaust
Aldon octane booster + Shell v-power
Mods on the cards;
Harmann rear splitter
Tyre change to Yokos (possibly)
GRS or GTT intercooler
AP or possibly GTT porker brakes
1-2% crank
JCW or Recarro seats
We estimate close to 220bhp before the IC and 230 or very close after some more bypass tweeks + IC
She runs the quarter mile, laden with gear in the boot and tools in 15 flat in her current state....with a poor start.
I expect with some practice to run 14.7 and sub 14.5 easy once the IC is on @ over 100mph when she is empty

All my pics are old so not showing the new mods. I hope to get some this weekend on a local MINI run in the Malverns, but I am also due a proper photoshoot soon for a piece on my car. Also had some pics taken of the car before some of the latest mods and they will be in Modern MINI magazine (not sure if you get it in the US)
