I am new to this forum and looking for advice. My husband passed away over a year ago and I want to sell his MiniCooperS. Have listed it in the local paper but no bites yet... I dont really want to go the eBay route. Not sure about Craig's list...Any advice for me?

you could take it to Carmax...no fuss and you're done though you can probably do better selling it on your own. How many miles and what's the asking price? That combo can be everything with respect to selling the car.

where are you located? Montclair, VA or NJ?

 

it has 26K miles and im asking $20K.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss. If you are ready to sell it quick w/o much hassle of listing on ebay, the paper, strangers calling wanting to see and drive car; then I would agree that car max is the place. I have sold two older vehicles and they have always given me fair price, much higher that any dealer would have given me on trade.

You can also try to posting it here or a local club where you can spread the word.
