Rally driver since 2002 i decided last year to build a mini cooper 2003 wich i am now racing in a 2wd championship

The car is a Cooper 2003 M/T, custom 8 point roll cage,Sparco REV seats,G-foce camlock harness ,DMS giant struts 50mm suspension,Oreca stering wheels Paint is pearl Orange.(production class car no turbo or supercharge allowed)

ha ha awsome!! Welcome... I have always wanted to try this.... I did a little fun "rallying" when I first got my mini in the desert of arizona... what fun! was cleaning out the dirt for months!

Welcome to NAM, you have been having more fun with your MC.

I would love to see some of this type of rally racing in our area. Time to google for MINI rally racing in Colorado. Nice set of pictures, you look warm in the MINI, but outside looks like a pita.

Keep up the good work and post some more pictures or at least post the links to your current activities.

 

Oooooo, winter stage rally..I like it. No videos?? Interested in hearing about that suspension. Does it raise your ground clearance a bit or stays at or near stock height? I was planning on rallycrossing my MCS when it arrives. Ground clearance is the one thing I'm hesitant bout.

Back in the dark ages when the earth was still cooling I did stage rallying too. Although my car was a Plymouth Fire Arrow.

DMS 50mm coilovers. Height adjustable. MSRP is $4500. The NA importer is based on Quebec, so it makes sense that's what's being used on the MINI

I actually planned to do the same suspension and 15" gravel wheels on mine to take it off some sweet jumps but I chickened out

I don't want to see this either. From a Prescott Forest Rally a few years ago.

2 white
topped with 6 (translucid)orange with white pearl added
2 clear

Peach in sunshine
pumpkin at night.

If anyone of you want a DMS suspension send me P.M. i can get it to you cheaper than that.

Ah. MINI and Rally. Perhaps my 2 favorite things in the automotive world. I just wish that we poor Americans had more access to Rally.... :(
