Let me be the first to welcome you to NAM, Jordan.
Hey, this isn't Jordan from American Idol, is it ? No wait... she's only 17.
Seriously, you have two things going for you in my book:
1) Chili Red
2) Half of your roof is the right color.

Jordan,
Welcome to NAM, it is nice to see someone who has worked for something they really wanted.
I have a friend who loves his 02 as much as I love my 07, both are fun to drive and great cars for young and older folks like me and Mr. R. Of course, I think his wife feels the MINI is hers, so I see another one coming into that family.
Congrats on your MINI, post some pictures and dress it up the way you like it.

Welcome to NAM!
Glad to have a newbie aboard. A hardy second to the post about your having worked for something you have and proud of it! Nothing wrong with that in my book!
Have a great time with your MINI and ask whatever questions you have. Some wise sage will surely have an answer. Then all you have to do is decide whether they know what they're talking about, or not!

Okay, then you'll get a pop up window. You copy and paste the URL of your image in that pop up box. Presto. The image is posted.
As for the cartoon MINIs, you have to schmooze a guy on the board named "COOPERation". He's talented, but busy. So my recommendation to you: buy him a box of fine Cubans or marry his ugly sister (the one with the huge mole on her chin).

Congrats on the new Mini.. I've only had mine for a month, but the more I drive it, the more I like it.
I remember when I was 19... I think..
Welcome to NAM!! When I was a young teen I was buying old clunkers for $25.00 and run em until they wouldn't run and selling them to the junk yard for $5.00. How times have changed!! Enjoy your MINI, as I'm sure you worked hard for it and that puts you as a class guy in my book.
Your thumbnails didn't come put but I did see your pics in the gallery.
Nice looking Cooper ! And not that it's a bad thing, but your bonnet stripes seem to have an unusual curviture to them... do they appear that way in person, or it it the camera making the appear that way ?
Any plans for mods ? Changing stripes, mirror caps, roof, anything ??
BTW, if you still want to post pics in the thread and need help, let us know.

yea the stripes were weird when i got it. Just put new ones on last weekend and picked up some S style bumpers and had them painted and i put them on last weekend too. im hoping to get some more pics in the next couple of days. mods are always running through my head i cant leave a car stock. i need some new wheels just dont know which route i wanna go and i like the checkerboard top but not for 200 bucks from mini. any input on some good places for parts would be great.
I get all my vinyl mods from Mike at Aesthetic Creations. Click on the "Vendor Directory" link over < there. He's the second vendor listed. Check out his gallery on his website (you'll see some of my mods on there, too).
His checkerboard roof graphic with no sunroof is very reasonable. Of course, that's a tough install so the expensive part is usually have a pro install it. I spent another $140 to have mine installed and had quotes as high as $400.
