Born on the 5th of July!

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the mini-scene and just got the phone call from my mini-agent telling me my baby, MiniTaur, will be ready to be picked up next week!

I was just wondering...
...is it worth getting the 800 dollar rock protection film from 3M?
Anyone else include that on their purchase?

Thanks all!
Happy motorin'

Allow me to make my first "welcome to NAM"! And I have the same question about the front-end protection. Picking my new MINI up around July 19.

Welcome! Run a search for "clear bra" for more info and opinions. I had it installed before I took delivery.

Welcome.

Save yourself some money...get it before delivery. I didn't. After several rock chips, I had to get touch up paint, have some airbrushing done, and THEN put the ClearBra on. I wish I'd listened to folks who told me to get it before I drove the MINI off the lot. Don't make the same mistake I did.

I purchase a clearbra on ebaymotors and did a DIY install and saved a bundle. The install is very easy and just takes a little time and patience.
