Soon to be MINI driver! woohooo!
Hiya! finally gave into the urge and ordered my MINI! Now I'm just counting the days!
My new pal is a MINI Cooper S Cabrio (Automatic), Astro Black Metallic, Cold Weather Package (Gets cold in NJ!), Chome highlights interior and exterior!
Placed my order June 14th, and just noticed it popped out of the MINI birth canal (I hoped they washed it off at least) and is being loaded on the ship today!!
I'm excited, really looking forward to open top motoring!
Configuration was a compromise between my wife and I - I got to get the Cooper S (yay) and she wanted automatic (booo) She never liked stick shift, and plans on driving it often, so I gave in.
Really wanted the NAV, but decided I wanted to keep the huge speedometer, so I'm looking at the Garmin 350 or 660 portable NAVs. NAM has been a HUGE help so far, from NAV mounts to detailing tips to racing decals!
I'll post some pictures once the day arrives!!

Hey Mark! From one newbie to another. My MINI gets to shore this Saturday. Sometimes the wait days skip by, other times you think it's never gonna get here. I can't believe (a) how addicting driving a MINI is and (b) how jazzed people get when you tell them you ordered a MINI!
