Greetings...

Hello All,

I hope I'm not starting a new thread in error, but I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. I just bought my wife a base Cooper after she told me a few months ago that when she got a new car she wanted something smaller than her Ford Explorer, and with a stick. I immedidately thought of the MINI. In fact, I am looking to give up my Lincoln Navigator for an S model myself. I test drove both and loved the MCS!

After the dealer low-balled me on his offer for my Nav, (did the same thing on my wife's Explorer!) he finally made a decent offer and I'm ready to buy. I also have a cash offer from an individual that I will likely accept, but now my biggest problem is deciding whether or not to order a build or take my chances something will show up on the lot that is close enough to what I want. I thought I had one this weekend, but someone bought it out from under me!

In any event, I'd like to hear anyone's experiences with the ordering process, good or bad, that would like to share. Also, any maintenence issues? Anybody have the '07 navigation system? What's it like? I've heard you can play DVDs in it. Any truth to that?

Thanks,

CDB

Welcome to NAM!! I don't have a 07 so I can't answer your questions but someone here will, I'm sure. A two MINI family should be fun.
