WOW! Great to see all these enthusiastic people here, I decided I had better join! What great information too, has given me far too many ideas for the future, now I have to go find another job! I unfortunatly, can count all the minis in this area on my fingers, and have fingers left over. Anyway, I have a 2002 MCS. He's (yes, my car is a he, unlike many of your cars...and his name is Claus-like the goldfish on Foxs' American Dad) Electric Blue, White roof, stripes. He's got the Premium/Sport/Cold/Pano Roof/17" RF/Multifunct. Steering/ Leather/Xenon/ Fog Lamps/K&N/DSC/SS...and will shortly have tinted windows, Union Jack mirror caps, and that cool rack of driving lights that is out of my budget right now. I figure if I keep buying lotto tickets, one day I can do some the awesome things I have been reading about on this site to the mechanicals also. I am a sports car-o-holic, and have had some really nice rides, but I honestly think all around the Minis have them beat. Thanks for such an awesome site! Dani

Dani,

Welcome to the group. You've got a nice looking car.

Where are you from? I grew up in Emmett, but now live in western Oregon.

Thank you! I live outside of the huge metropolis of Blackfoot, potato capital of the world! There are two other minis in blackfoot, 1 in american falls, and 4 in pocatello! (That I have been keeping track of for the last few years anyway!)

I never thought I'd live to see Emmett become a commuter community for Boise. Or that it would ever obtain a McDonald's. I spent time down the road from you in Seaside, too.

Thanks for making one feel so welcome! Actually places around Boise have canged a lot, like Idaho Falls, Pocatello too. Blackfoot? Not really, sidewalks still get rolled up at 8pm. I do have a couple questions though, and being new to this site, I dont know if I ask them here, or somewhere else? Anyway, I will ask away. Anybody having a lot of inner rear tire wear, (Claus has 39,000 miles on him) and what causes it? I was told I should get a 4 wheel alignment, but not having that many miles, I was unsure. Also, I just got the clear headlight protectors, as I got a driving light broke out on my last trip to Salt Lake City. They seem pretty cool, so I was wondering what you guys think of those invisible bras? I dont ever think I have even seen one (or since its invisible, maybe I have)? Anyway, Thanks again, and yes I would like to do some engine mods, but I just graduated from ISU, so I am pretty broke right now! Thanks again!
