Loss of power -Dealer reports OBD Code P0638
I experienced a loss of power during Monday's rush hour traffic in my 2002 MCS with 18K miles. Speedo/tach lit up like Christmas.
Quickly drove (25 mph+)to the dealer for a check up.
Dealer reported 2 OBD codes #P0638 and P1125. Currently replacing the
engine main wiring harness $350 + labor. Suggested replacing throttle body control, $300 + labor. Opted for one major change and re-test. Waiting on results. Is the dealer on the right track? I'm showing P0638 as a throttle actuator control. No explaination for P1125.
